From the 5th to the 7th of August, the sustainable construction market professionals have an appointment at the Transamerica Expo Center in the city of São Paulo, which is hosting the fifth edition of Greenbuilding Brazil - International Conference and Expo. In an area of over 8000 m2, 120 exhibiting companies - national and international - expect to receive 10,000 visitors to discuss and present the progress of green building works in Brazil and worldwide. Cushman & Wakefield, a founding member of the Green Building Council Brazil (GBC Brazil), has confirmed its presence.
In its fifth participation in the event, the consultancy will reinforce the importance of the integration of real estate services with a focus on sustainability consulting for buildings by presenting cases studies. These case studies show a series of cutting-edge technologies applied in automation, renewable energy, lighting and hydraulic systems, thus resulting in very high environmental and energy performance. "We offer a range of real estate services and complete environmental certifications for the Brazilian market, adding even more value to enterprises," says João Pacheco, director of the Green Building consultancy, C&W.
He and his team are responsible for over 52 projects between certified projects and projects undergoing the certification process in South America. During the project, C&W actively participates in the strategic development of the project and civil works, contributing to ensure that all the certification requirements are met. "Upon completion of the project and civil works, the consultancy reviews and prepares all the documentation and forwards it to the Green Building Certification Institute - GBCI for review and obtaining the certification," concludes Eliza Mauro, who will be in the C&W stand for customers and green partners.
